A simple A.C. technique for galvanomagnetic and shubnikov-de haas measurements

Abstract

Using alternating currents in a crystal and measuring voltages with a commercial lock-in-amplifier is shown to enhance greatly signal to noise ratios over conventional d.c. methods for galvanomagnetic and Shubnikov-de Haas effects.
