Abstract

This introduction announces a Journal of School Violence (JSV) special issue and describes a new partnership between JSV and the Bullying Research Network (BRNET). This partnership was formed to promote and support high-quality empirical research that can be disseminated in school contexts and ultimately lead to the reduction and prevention of bullying in schools. A brief history of the BRNET is provided and the four articles included in this special issue, written by BRNET members, are described.
