Anti-hapten antibody induction with deoxyribonucleic acid carrier

Abstract

An immunogen was prepared by substituting 2,4,6-trinitrophenyl groups to deoxyguanosine residues in chemically pure DNA. Isolation of antibodies to the haptenic group suggests that DNA can serve as a carrier.
