Abstract
In pitch-based carbon fibers at low temperatures, we find the simultaneous presence of a negative magnetoresistance and the Shubnikov-deHass effect. The strengths of these effects correlate inversely. These results can be understood in terms of the amount of order vs disorder in the fiber.
