Applications of remote sensing to irrigated agriculture

Abstract

Several uses for satellite digital imagery and data from portable field radiometers have been developed for the monitoring of agricultural crops, their yields, insect and disease attacks, aerial extent and general health and vigor. The purpose of this paper is to briefly outline some of the remote sensing applications pertaining to irrigated agriculture which are presently under use.
