Abstract
Block ionomer complexes (BIC) represent a novel class of polymeric materials combining properties of amphiphilic block ionomers and polyelectrolyte complexes. The unique self-assembly behavior, the simplicity of the preparation and the wide variety of available surfactant and polymer components make these systems promising in addressing various theoretical and practical problems.
