Abstract
Douching-induced peritonitis has been reported in non-immunosuppressed patients. We present a case of candida peritonitis caused by excessive vaginal douching in a renal transplant patient. This case highlights this clinical entity and emphasizes the need to caution patients against vaginal douching following transplantation.
