Abstract
Salvia cabulica belonging to the family Lamiaceae afforded a new compound 3-p- hydroxyphenylpropionic acid n-tricosyl ester (1), along with seven known constituents for the first time from this plant. The structures of all the isolated compounds were determined through spectroscopic techniques and by comparing literature data. However, the structure of new compound (1) was elucidated through extensive 1D- and 2D-NMR experiments. The 13C- NMR data of compound (2) are also being reported for the first time.
