Abstract
Applying classroom theory to experiences in the clinical setting is often a difficult task for both faculty and students. The problem is usually more difficult in an integrated curriculum in which broad concepts need to be applied in specific clinical specialty areas. To address this problem, the authors discuss the clinical focus, an integrated approach used successfully by one school to link theory with practice.
