Abstract

In summary, the discussion is truly appreciated. The bed shear stress approximation that we proposed is in very good agreement with the laboratory measurements shown in Fig. 4. This is true even in the case where the secondary currents and Reynolds stresses are neglected. The agreement between our Eq. (46) and the laboratory measurements of sidewall shear stress in Fig. 5 is sufficiently accurate for practical applications.
