Abstract
This case report describes the development and fitting of a combined palatal and mid-facial prosthesis for a patient with nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (Gorlin syndrome). Speech intelligibility scores are reported for each phase of his prosthodontic intervention. His preintervention sentences intelligibility score was 2%, while his postintervention score was 89%.
