Abstract

1) Rare but clinically important disorders that can have significant morbidity and mortality. 2) Often identified during prenatal ultrasonography or discovered incidentally. 3) Symptoms range from acute respiratory distress in the newborn to asymptomatic and incidentally discovered. 4) Carry an excellent prognosis in the absence of associated anomalies.
