Abstract

The general equation of the quadratic with five constants has been used to correlate the binodal curve of ternary liquid mixtures. It can correlate a binodal curve of any shape in a system with one or two partially miscible pairs. The binodal curves of 27 ternary systems were correlated satisfactorily by the proposed equation.
