Abstract

The authors identified a typographical error on pages 314–315 of the original manuscript. The concentration of fetal bovine serum (FBS) was listed in units of “mg/dL” instead of “g/dL.” This error does not affect the estimation of “D” given its fundamentally constant value in the protein concentration range of 0–5 g/dL [1]. 1) Kreuzer, F. and Hoofd, LJC. Facilitated diffusion of oxygen in the presence of hemoglobin. Respir. Physiol., 8 (1970), pp. 280-302.
