Abstract

Cybersecurity and digital transformation are critical indicators for the success of today's industrial sectors. They significantly impact industrial control systems' optimization and progress towards industrial transformation. For this purpose, both have received substantial attention in the industrial sectors. They will fundamentally change the industry's operational business approaches and models. For this reason, universities face significant pressure to overhaul and expand their existing curriculum by focusing on methodologies and technologies needed for digital transformation and cybersecurity. A professional certificate program in cybersecurity in digital transformation is necessary to overcome cyber threats and attacks. The complexity and number of these attacks are increasing daily, targeting both government and private sectors. For this purpose, all sectors need experts with special technical knowledge in cybersecurity to protect mission-critical applications and cloud services. In this paper, we evaluate the educational requirements of cybersecurity in digital transformation professional certificate programs using a multi-method approach.
