Abstract

The dyeing behavior of crease-resistant finished silk was discussed. Dyeability of 1,2,3,4-butadienetetracarboxylic acid and citric acid finished silk was studied using acid, direct and cationic dyes. The effects of triethanolamine-assisted finishing were also assessed. Whether dyed before or after finishing, the fabric had good dyeability with improved resiliency.
