Effects of stress on the normal-incommensurate phase transition in k2se04

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The results of a Brillouin scattering study of K2Se04 under external stress are presented. These results can be attributed to anomalous behavior of third order elastic constants. The results are consistent with a Landau theory containing external stress.
