Abstract

The exchange coupling and remanence enhancement in nanocomposite multilayer magnets were studied. A single hard-phase layer, Ti(10 nm)/NdDyFeCoNbB(240 nm)/Ti(10 nm)/(Si substrate) was investigated. It was found that the nanostructures of the multilayers can be controlled well by preparing different layers and by adjusting the thickness of the layers for the soft and hard phases.
