Abstract
A study was performed on exchange interactions and Curie temperature of Y-Co compounds. The behavior of the Y-Co compounds was discussed in terms of inter-sublattice interactions. The first principle calculations for Y-Co compounds were performed to investigate the effect of changes of its local environment on the magnetic properties.
