Abstract

In this paper, we study the effect of concentration on the magnetic properties of R-T compounds as the changes in concentration produce change in the local environment, Such a study has been carried out for Y-Fe compounds where Y is a prototype R. We perform first principle calculation for Y-Co compounds to investigate how the magnetic properties of Co affected by the changes in its local environment.
