Gloves

The hand is probably the most complex of all anatomical structures in the human body. Along with the brain, it is the most important organ for accomplishing the tasks of exploration, prehension, perception, and manipulation, unique to humans. The importance of the hand to human culture is emphasized by its depiction in art and sculpture, its reference frequency in vocabulary and phraseology, and its importance in communication and expression (Chao et al., 1989). The human hand is distinguished from that of the primates by the presence of a strong opposable thumb, which enables humans to accomplish tasks requiring precision and fine control. The hand provides humans with both mechanical and sensory capabilities.
