Hall effect studies of the mixed state of c-axis oriented Hg0.9Tl0.1Ba2Ca2Cu3O 8+δ superconducting films with Tc>124K

Abstract

The temperature and the magnetic-field dependences of both the Hall resistivity ρxy and the longitudinal resistivity ρxx in the mixed state of c-axis oriented Hg0.9Tl0.1Ba2Ca2Cu3O 8+δ superconducting films with Tc>124K have been measured. It is found that the Hall resistivity ρxy shows a sign anomaly and scales with the longitudinal resistivity ρxx as ρxy(T)=K ρxxβ(T) with β≈1.8 and a magnetic-field-independent coefficient K.
