Abstract

Li and colleagues report on the direct pulmonary delivery of combination treatments for lung metastases of breast cancer using nanoemulsion formulations of siRNA against STAT3 and an inhibitor of a chemokine receptor CXCR4. The authors show improved antitumor activity and survival of pulmonary delivery when compared with intravenous injection.
