N2 - The controlled cortical impact (CCI) model is commonly used for replicating the trauma events. However, the impact parameters vary considerably among different laboratories, making the comparison of research findings difficult. The goal of this work is to quantify the intracranial pressure responses to the input parameters of the CCI device using a surrogate head, i.e., a gel-filled ping pong ball. Findings from this work could be used to better design CCI tests.
