Abstract

The paper describes the details of sensitivity analysis as applied to a simple problem of the determination of the least-cost grade mix of lumber input required to satisfy a particular cutting order. The results of an application of the model to a more complex industry case study, using standard yield values as published by North Carolina State University are discussed.
