Abstract
This article outlines the major obstacles which have prevented any significant success in the treatment of malignant bone tumors, discusses the diagnostic evaluation of a patient with a suspected malignant bone tumor, and presents information on recent changes in the treatment of osteogenic sarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma.
