Overview of gait and movement disorders in the elderly

Abstract

This review is divided into two major parts. First, an anatomic overview of normal motor control is provided. Second, clinically important gait and movement disorders seen in the elderly population are described in terms of this overview. The emphasis is on diagnosis.
