Positive curvature of the Hc 2-versus-Tc boundaries in layered superconductors

Abstract

We have found what we believe to be a universal characteristic of layered superconductors: A positive curvature of the Hc 2-versus-Tc boundary. The origins of the effect are believed to be associated with strong anisotropies of the Fermi surface and electronphonon interaction.
