Pregnancy in patients with aortic dilatation

Abstract

Women with aortic dilation, either in association with an underlying connective tissue disease, or congenital cardiac lesion, require peripartum disease-specific counselling and management. This document reviews the literature on aortic complications which may occur during pregnancy in patients with aortopathies.
