Abstract
Two patients who were teated with therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation for primary carcinoma of the thyroid and cervix developed a second malignancy in the organs included in the field of radiation 10 and 14 years later, respectively. These two patients, whose second malignancies meet all of the criteria to be classified as radiation induced cancer, are presented.
