Radiation reaction of electrons scattered by intense laser light

Abstract

Electrons have been shown to radiate x-rays strongly when accelerated and scattered by intense laser light. Theory predicts the effects of radiation reaction will be measurable as the scattering light intensity is increased to the relativistic level.
