Abstract

The surface-enhanced resonance Raman scattering of riboflavin binding protein, glucose oxidase, lactate oxidase, /<hydroxybenzoate hydroxylase, Old Yellow Enzyme, and flavodoxin.(M. Elsdenii) on colloidal silver has been investigated. The signals are shown to arise from free flavin extracted from the proteins. No spectra of flavins incorporated in proteins are observed.
