Abstract

The intent of research is to inform coworkers in similar environments of new or varied approaches to problems assumed to be shared. However, narratives of reported studies neglect to identify vari ables necessary for reproducing environmental contigencies. If the proposition is accepted that service agencies occupy unique environments, then single organism research designs such as ABAB and multiple baseline designs may provide more valuable information than currently accepted research methodologies.
