A software is developed for a set of composite effective properties calculation based on the properties of components and structural parameters. The menu of composite structures includes particulate composites, fiber composites, and laminates (where plies can be above mentioned composites). Percolation effect can be taken into account in case of particulates. The program handles solid, encapsulated and hollow inclusions, as well as pores. Unidirectional, in-plane, and 3D volume orientation of continuous or short fibers can be considered. Different kinds of hybrids can be analyzed using multistage calculation. Both calculated and experimentally obtained data on laminas properties may be used in laminate analysis. The following set of properties is considered: elastic constants, thermal and moisture expansion coefficients, transport properties, dynamic moduli and loss tangents, creep functions, cost, density, and specific constants. Classical lamination theory and well-known methods for fiber composite analysis are utilized in the program, as well as methods for particulate calculation developed by the author. The package combines the library of computational programs, user's developed database on material properties and service programs in an exceptional user friendly manner. The hierarchical menu system is used for data flow monitoring. Theoretically unlimited database ensures editing, storage and automatic access to matrix, filler, fiber and ply properties as well as to calculated properties of composites. Check for erroneous data input is foreseen. The software is written in C language for IBM PC and compatibles (MS-DOS). Executable code requires 190 K RAM. The capability of program is illustrated on examples.
