Abstract
Electronic and magnetic properties are investigated in the amorphous metallic alloys Zr//4//0Cu//6//0// minus //xFe//x for 0 less than equivalent to x less than equivalent to 12. Evidence is obtained for spin fluctuation phenomena in the host alloy (x equals 0) and for local moment behavior associated with Fe impurities. Resistance maxima are observed at higher Fe concentrations but, in general, the behavior is different from that exhibited by typical crystalline spin glasses.
