Abstract

The structure and magnetic properties of sputtered hard/soft multilayer magnets were studied by using X-ray diffraction analysis. It was observed that the remanence increased while the coercivity decreased with the addition of Fe content. The results showed that the Pr2Fe14B-type phase is randomly oriented in all the multilayer films.
