Abstract

The magnetic properties for the stabilizing layer in a wide thickness range were investigated. It was found that a very thin stabilizing layer was not well ordered magnetically and this ordering could be improved significantly for stabilizing layer thickness >50 Å. The coupling strength increased linearly as the stabilizing layer thickness varied from 17 to 60 Å.
