Abstract

Some of the physical properties and preliminary hydrogen and methanol fuel cell performance data of the sulfonated Diels-Alder (DA) polyphenylene were presented. Sulfonated DA polymers could obtain high power levels and current densities of 1000 mw/sq cm at 2000 mA/sq cm at 80°C with pure oxygen.
