Abstract

The anatomy of the neck is complex. The nerves in this region are surrounded by important blood vessels. Many of the nerves are small and flimsy making dissection difficult and potentially dangerous. It is hoped that this chapter will give important information to guide the safe and efficient exposure of the various nerves during surgical procedures.
