Abstract

Nearly single phase Hg(Tl)Ba2Ca2Cu3O8+δ superconductors have been synthesized. The samples annealed in O2 had a zero resistace temperature Tc=134K. The onset temperature of Hg(Tl)-1223 phase decomposition was high up to 825°C. The vibration of oxygens shifted to higher frequency (596 cm-1). Addition of thallium rised the vibration frequency of oxygens and stabilized the crystal structure of Hg-1223 phase.
