Abstract

Two new amide type podands L₁ and L₂ (L₁ = 1, 1, 1-tris {[(2-benzylaminoformyl) phenoxyl] methyl} propane, L₂ = 1, 3, 5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris{[(2-benzylaminoformyl) phenoxyl] methyl} benzene) and their europium and terbium nitrates complexes were synthesized. The luminescence properties of these complexes were also studied.
